Our knife blade is made from VG10 Japanese steel which is a blend of carbon and chromium.
This steel offers excellent edge retention so you don't need to sharpen it as often, and has strong rust resistance.
Tests have shown VG10 has up to 50% better edge retention rate compared to blue steel.
To ensure your blade stays sharp hand wash and dry after each use.
Please do not put your slicing knife in the dishwasher as the harsh heat and chemicals can damage the handle and dull the blade.
All our knives and designed in the USA and shipped from our warehouse in Wisconsin. The knives are assembled in a state-of-the-art facility in YangJing, China, a city with nearly 1500 years of history in knife making.
Granton edge refers to the hollowed-out grooves that run along the sides of the blade. These grooves fill with any meat juices or fat. While slicing meat like brisket this allows for thin, even cuts without any tearing.
